The Bacoor Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated (PCCI-Bacoor), popularly known locally as the Chamber, was chosen as the Most Outstanding Young Chamber for 2016 as awarded by the country’s largest business organization, The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The recognition was made during the 42nd Philippine Business Conference & Expo held at the Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom, Newport City, Pasay last October 12-13, 2016. The event was attended by no less than the President of the Philippines, His Excellency Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
The award was handed by the PCCI President, Mr. George Barcelon to the Chamber’s delegation headed by its President, Ms. Sallie B. Lacson and its Chairmand-Emeritus & City Councilor of Bacoor, Hon. Rowena Bautista-Mendiola.
It was a fitting recognition since the Chamber was accredited and officially admitted to the PCCI only a year ago. It has since motivated them to further uphold the cause of the business sector and to sustain a viable environment for investments to thrive in the city. Since their establishment in 2010, they maintained to be the “voice of business and to inspire success.”
The Chamber continuing partnershop with the City Government of Bacoor is aimed to bring economic growth, enhance productivity in the community, generate local employment and create investor-confidence to the city. They take an active part in the LGU programs and involved in te drafting of public policies.
In these respect did the PCCII recognized their coomendable effort in accelerating business growth in the area as evidence by their exemplary leadership and dynamism, strong advocacy program, increased membership base and effective delivery of services.
It is the pride of the Chamber’s movers to receive the award in behalf of every entrepeneur who operates in the City of Bacoor. It should serve as an inspiration to them to aspire to be the best in whatever enterprise. Let it be the beginning of greater achievements ahead.
